Freedom Leisure

freedom leisure

Established in April 2002 as a not for profit leisure trust Freedom ran four centres on behalf of Wealden District Council. Since then the company has enjoyed considerable growth and now manages 30 leisure facilities across Sussex, Surrey and Kent for a number of partners. As a not for profit trust we have no share holders to pay and surplus income is reinvested directly into the centre to provide an improved leisure service for the communities in which we operate. We work together with our key partners including local authorities, Primary Care Trusts, schools, colleges, charities and other public, private and not-for-profit organisations. We are committed to developing locally empowered and locally accountable partnerships. Our objective is to make a positive impact and contribute to local services and facilities.

Throughout this journey, we have had one fundamental and driving purpose – to inspire active lifestyles. Whilst this remains firm, we are now operating in a new context; we face different challenges and new opportunities. We are determined to be at the heart of an improvement in health and wellbeing within our community and must continue to improve our current service and find new innovative ways to fulfil our purpose and increase our impact.

Refer-all

We have experienced first hand the pain with running complex medical referral schemes. We found it hard to analyse data, generate reports, hang on to funding and offer the best service possible to patients.

It was for this reason that Refer-all was born. Refer-all was founded in 2009. Our mission is to transform the current paper led referral process so that people are dealt with in an efficient manner, reducing waiting times and improving health. Refer-all has completed the Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IGSoC) and is compliant to level 2. Refer-all operates within all the NHS Information Governance, data security and confidentiality guidelines.
